Milda holds an MA in Film & TV Studies and Philosophy from the University of Glasgow. Their background is in festival programming and in(ter)dependent curatorial projects. Most recently, they have been working as a pre-viewer and programmer for the Glasgow Short and Vilnius International Film Festival. Their latest curated programme Collective Dreaming has been developed and presented in partnership with the Centre for Contemporary Arts Glasgow and Lithuanian Culture Institute.

Milda has joined SDI as a Project Coordinator. They are passionate about non-fiction films as a method for challenging current systems of power and climate of exploitation, as well as cinema as a space for building communities. They see this role as an opportunity to dream of and contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible documentary industry in Scotland and beyond.
