Bart Simpson | Masterclass | 2012
Bart Simpson is a Canadian producer and director of both documentary and fiction films. Simpson produced the award-winning The Corporation (2003), exploring the curious history, inner workings, controversial impacts and potential future of world corporations. He is also known for producing Fredrik Gertten’s Bananas! (2010) on Nicaraguan banana workers battling against Dole Food and the company’s use of a banned pesticide.
Simpson was also the executive producer of our 2012 Bridging the Gap short Polaris.
In this masterclass, Simpson tells us how to research and approach people to interview. He also gives an insight into how to bring a human connection between the screen and the audience.
