Following the summer 2019 launch of our new talent initiative, Right Here, we’re now able to announce the directors who’ll be bringing new creative documentaries to television in 2020.
Run in association with Screen Scotland and BBC Scotland, the two-year initiative offers six Scotland-based filmmakers a chance to create 30-minute creative documentaries for broadcast on BBC Scotland.
The first three directors/co-directors who have won commissions, and who we’re now working with on pre-production, are:
- Lindsay Brown
- Parisa Urquhart & Ling Lee
- Kieran Hennigan & Zoe Hunter Gordon
We’ll have more details on the directors and their films in future months, plus details of the second call for applications.
